Filipino, has been a Director of the Company since April 3, 2019. He is currently the Executive Vice President of PHINMA’s Construction Materials Group and a Director of PHINMA Corporation. He is also currently the President and Chief Executive Officer of Union Galvasteel Corporation, Philcement Corporation, and PHINMA Solar Energy Corporation. He was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Holcim Philippines Inc. from 2013 to 2016, and was a member of its Board of Directors from July 2010 to May 2017. Prior to his appointment as Country CEO of Holcim Philippines Inc., Mr. Sahagun held various key executive positions in Holcim Philippines, Inc. and PHINMA’s former cement division (later acquired by Holcim). In 2014, Mr. Sahagun received the CEO Excel Award, the highest individual award in communications excellence leadership given by IABC Philippines. Mr. Sahagun holds a Bachelor of Science in Commerce degree and is a Certified Public Accountant. He also holds a Master’s Degree in Management Science from Arthur D. Little Management Education Institute (now Hult International Business School) in Boston, Massachusetts and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the Ateneo Graduate School of Business. He recently attended the Executive Briefing on Cybersecurity Competency Framework and Revised Corporation Code of the Philippines conducted by SEC-accredited training provider Center for Global Best Practices (CGBP) on October 22, 2021.
